Fountainhead !!

Fountainhead " is cornucopia of innovators and individualists with the death of second handlers and collectivists. Ayn Rand's main character Howard Roark not only endures the fight between the two, but has also proved that growth and innovations are products of individualism and not of communitarians. Collectivism is the shield behind which second handlers hide their incapability and at the same time its shield to obstruct the great acts of individualism which is bigger and more prominent loss for society and humanity.

Mathematically, collectivism is the mean of  values, some of which have great potential to deliver .And the function of mean is to curtail their capacity to match them to other. Its an act to hinder natures will to grow.
Collectivism is an act to halt the growth of civilization and to make it stagnant. Second handlers defend their stand in the name of common benefit and thus obstruct the path taken by second handlers.
The demonstration of how masses is fooled by few to gain the opinion on collectivism was brilliantly portrait . How all the definitions of success and failure in the mind of second handlers is limited only to person next to him, irrespective his own beliefs .And this chain continues which takes the soul out of a man and gave it to his right whose soul is already in the hands of person to his right. And what we gets is mass of slaves who have sacrificed themselves for the other's right and wrong.Individualism says you dont have to look at other person for your happiness becouse its yours.

 Collectivism preaches sacrifice and selflessness on the other hand individualism preaches love for oneself to that extent that it people see it as selfishness.But its the second and not the first which takes life to next step.ts the first who took the first step to explore the world ,to reach the moon ,to fly in the sky,to reach any artistic mastery and every step taken in the unexplored hinterland was fisrt challegend not by anything else but by the masses and collectivism.And only after they realized that they can capitalize on the results they accept the the exploration.And this cycle continues ....can't we have smoother paths for individualists and their expeditions.


Once I was acquainted with quotation about books "Travelling the whole world without moving an inch." And it took me some time to understand this and today my understanding is more matured to updated it to  "Living the life again and again without rebirth and death. "
While reading this book I have lived the life sometimes of Howard, sometimes of Guy and sometimes of Dominiquie and the credit should be given to Ayn for her brilliant writing skills which accepts you irrespective of who you are and transforms you.
Coming to the story, its a tale of young architect Howard roark.His unconventional and innovative ideas costed him and he was expelled from Stanton institute. Similar challenges were faced by him during his carref as an architect.But even during his rejection from almost all the places, he never felt dejected and the reason being his conviction that his acts should be for his happiness and not to statiate others quench.
This novel gives strength to capitalism and I guess we all know the reason why ??
